Pieran Robert | 5th YearSeattle, WA
This is Pieran's second year as a Hodag Captain and fifth year on the team. He is currently a fifth year student studying Computer Science. He is a player on the mixed club team Madison Noise and helps coach the Madison MUFAbots YCC U20 Mixed team. |
Joe Leibforth | 4th YearEvanston, IL
This is also Joe's second season as a Hodag Captain. This is Joe's third official year on the team and also plays with Chicago mixed club, Jabba, and the AUDL team, Madison Radicals |

Saul Diaz | 3rd YearMadison, WI
Born n' raised in Madison. Played four years at Madison West High, captaining two years, placing 5th at nationals senior year. Saul also played soccer and hockey at West. At UW-Madison, Saul is majoring in Engineering Physics and hopes to one day have a career in academia. |
Mark Nelson | 5th YearSt. Paul, MN
Mark is a third year Hodag studying economics. Converting from hockey and baseball, he started playing Ultimate in high school and plans to continue well into the future. |

Aiden Martinsen | 1st Year2021 Highlight Reel
Aiden Martinsen is a Freshman from Stevens Point studying Computer Engineering. He started playing in June 2023 for the Stevens Point summer league. That’s the only experience he has outside of the Hodags. He likes lifting and climbing. |
Braeden Rebarchik | 1st YearBraeden Rebarchik is a Sophomore from Sussex, WI studying Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. He played on the Fauxdags last year and he enjoys listening to country music. He likes running and exploring nature. He has a demolition business and demos flooring for commercial real estate properties.

Caleb Sanders | 1st YearCalvin Sanders is a freshman from Madison studying Electrical Engineering. Carter played ultimate at Middleton High School: Junior/Senior Year, Captained Senior Year and MUFA YCC U20 Boys: Senior Year. Chris also enjoys playing chess.

Erik Nuenninghoff | 5th YearErik Nuenninghoff is a 5th year student from Madison studying economics and violin performance. He has played two summers of MUFA followed by one summer of mixed club with Mastodon. This is his first year of college eligibility. He believes sunglasses on a sunny day are nice.

Jack Bradshaw | 1st YearJack Bradshaw is a Freshman from Seattle, WA studying Journalism. He has played since 7th grade. His High school team (Lincoln High School) went to the High School National Invite his Junior and Senior Year.

Jericho Diapaolo | 5th YearJack DiPaolo is a first year grad student from Buffalo Grove studying GLS and Cartography. He played 1.5 years of SubPar (Whitewater) ultimate and 2 club seasons (house and MKE). He enjoys playing board games, learning to play the guitar, and has played baseball for 11 years. He considers himself ‘a nerd of sorts’.

Jude Ogden | 2nd YearJude Ogden is a Sophomore from Menomonie, WI studying Environmental Science. He started playing ultimate during his freshman year at Columbia University (shoutout UpLo). After transferring to Madison, he’s starting my second year with the sport! You can usually find him camping, hiking, or being outdoors in other ways. He’s also an avid runner and a huge music guy. “My life basically runs on Spotify…”

Lionel Wu | 5th YearYuhao Wu is a Masters student from Shanghai, China studying Business Analytics. He has played for Omen, University of Cincinnati, China national teams, and some top club teams in China(both single gender teams and mixed teams). He has a license to drive gt3/gt4 division racing cars.

Matteo Meyer | 1st YearMatteo Meyer is a freshman from Arden Hills, MN studying Biochemistry and History on the premed track. He played for Mounds View high school for three years including being captain as a senior, and in the summers he played with the U20 Minnesota Superior open team for two years. On the field he’s done a bit of everything, handling, cutting, getting sky'd, skying others, and he loves laying out (when his shoulder is healthy). He is fluent in German, and he played the lead role in my middle school's production of Guys and Dolls.

Matthew Zabawski | 5th YearMatthew Zabawski is a 5th year student from Arlington Heights studying Computer Science. He only played pickup, didn’t actually learn or really start playing until he transferred to Madison 2 years ago. Besides frisbee, he enjoys cooking, building go karts and video games.

Max Heirigs | 1st YearMax Heirigs is a Freshman from Edina studying Mechanical Engineering. He played for 3 years in high school (1 on Edina JV Gold and 2 on varsity) and was a captain his senior year, and he played for the Minnesota Superior YCC teams U17 Boys in 2021 and U20 Mixed in 2022. He enjoys rock climbing and reading.

Nico Tangwall | 2nd YearNico Tangwall is a Sophomore from Madison studying Electrical Engineering. He played 4 years at Middleton High and captained his senior year. He played YCC for the u17 boys and u20 boys. His freshman year at UW he was rookie rep with the Fauxdags. Finally, over this past summer he dipped his toes in the club scene with Mastodon. He averages about 4 bowls of cereal a day. “The nurse at a blood drive told me I set the record for fastest donation time of the day. Not sure if this is a positive or a negative.”

Theo Stein | 1st YearTheo Stein is a Freshman from Atlanta studying Journalism. He played 4 years Paideia Varsity Ultimate and 2 years Atlanta ATLiens Youth Club.

Yiran Li | 3rd YearYiran Li is a Junior originally from Beijing, but moved to Wayland Massachusetts when I was 14. He is studying Electrical Engineering. He started playing ultimate freshman year on the Fauxdags. He’s an undergrad research assistant in semiconductor devices (WISNED).
